Hint: Enlist The Mayor
At the town of Sindain, head to the mayor's office. There the mayor will tell you he forgot the combination to his safe. Keep talking to him and he will tell you that it's on the same day as Claire's birthday, etc.

Select the choice that allows you to put in the combination and pick 1221
