At the title screen enter (white button, black button, left trigger, right trigger, X,B,Y) and start a new game.
You will start the game wearing the Iron Armor and weilding the Soul Reaver.
New outfit and the Soul Reaver
To start out the game with Kain wearing his red-and-black outfit from Blood Omen 1 and wielding the powerful Soul Reaver, enter the following cheat. While on the Main Menu press WHITE,BLACK,L TRIGGER, R TRIGGER, X, B, Y. You will hear a voice say "Go Cheese!" when you enter the cheat correctly. You get the keep the new outfit, which acts as armor for the entire game. You also get to use the Soul Reaver right from the start, which cuts through enemies like butter. You should have no problems beating the game after using this cheat.
